Geophysical survey

Training in the use of Earth Resistance and Magnetometer equipment enabled participants to look beneath the ground surface. The results from the unusually large field boundary were particularly interesting, and showed high resistance anomalies at the higher, broader end of the mound. Together with the topographical survey, the results suggested that the field boundary ran up to this mound at each end on a slightly different alignment.
